7 Months

Our sweet baby continues to grow and change right before our eyes. Today he is 7 months old and I can hardly believe it! He has such a wonderful personality and Charlie and I have really started to pick up on his sweet little characteristics.

Things we have noticed so far about our little man's personality...
He is very calm and patient. Whenever I see him in comparison to other babies it amazes me how calm and relaxed he is!
He loves just taking in life and observing everything around him. He is definitely an observer and a thinker. For example- we took him to the TCU football game and he just sat for 2 hours and looked around at everyone- never cracked a smile or a frown...just took it alllll in! Because he is such a thinker- He is very slow to anger- it is almost like by the time he realizes he is unhappy the situation has already resolved itself and we can move on.
He is very very gentle. Watching him gently pet scout or wanting to feel different objects around him he is always very soft.
He is extremely happy! Very very rarely is he crying or unhappy.
He is in LOVE with his daddy!!! No one can make that little boy laugh like his daddy does!
He loves to cuddle with his mommy. He can stay awake for a very long time with others- but put him in mommies arms and he is out!
He is adventurous and a little too independent for my liking at this age. =) When we are down on the floor playing with him- he always rolls in the opposite direction from us and off to explore the rest of the room!

To sum it up- he is the most awesome kid EVER! Everything about him is so sweet and special. My cup runneth over!

Favorite past-times of our 7 month old...
Giving kisses! Uhhh sooo sweet!
LOVES banging on things- pots, pans, cups, if it makes noise he will bang on it!
Clapping! YAY HARRISON- and he claps! Or if you start singing he will start clapping...I think he is going to be a little musician!
Rolling....he can get wherever he wants to...its just a few rolls away!
Standing- He LOVES to stand up...he has to hold our hands and he doesn't move an inch he just loves to stand up and look around.
Saying Dada and Buh buh....everything is dada dada dada....he only says mama when he is trying to say dada but has his mouth full of food! lol
We are eating baby food now!! Carrots, green beans, rice cereal, bananas, apples, and sweet potatoes are the yummy foods his little taste buds enjoy!
We are sitting up all on our own now! He loves to sit up and pick out the different toys he is going to play with.
UHH he is SUCH a joy!

We are still breastfeeding although we have begun to wean. He is doing great on the formula- not sure he can really tell the difference...if so he is too hungry to care!
He is sleeping great! We have moved up the bedtime a little and we are sleeping from about 8/9pm to 7/8 am. He will wake up eat and go back down for a 3 hour morning nap! The boy LOVES to sleep!
