Big Cedar Lodge

We just returned from a very memorable trip to Big Cedar Lodge with Grammy and Papa. Charlie, Harrison and I took a road trip up to the Lake of the Ozarks where my family had rented a cabin for us all. It was a 7.5 hour road trip that we truly enjoyed taking. It was a beautiful drive with a lot of quality down time for Charlie and I. Big Cedar Lodge is a 60,000 acre resort on Table Rock Lake. The lake is crystal clear and the resort was breathtaking. Harrison got all the attention and it was such a joy to see him soak it all in. He had a lot of firsts on this trip. He got to go on a hay-ride pulled by 2 horses. We went to a campfire, roasted marshmallows and made smores while a cowboy sang to us. He got his very first pony ride!! He went swimming in the lake...Brrrrrr....and in the pool. We went "pickin'" for antiques and he helped his papa find some old antique toy cars. They had a shuffle board game overlooking the lake so we got to play that while Harrison was napping! ;) There was a turtle pond that Harrison really enjoyed throwing food to the turtles and a huge catfish pond that we also got to see. It was a wonderful trip with lots of wonderful memories. Harrison learned to say "night night" and "toe" while we were on the trip. ;) Here are some pictures from our vacation. I CANNOT wait to go back!
